The primary transportation modes for movement of goods in India are Air, Rail and Road. Of late, movement of goods by roads has gained considerable importance in India with “Make in India”, GST Implementation and e-commerce business. The road transport industry is penetrating into the market through a strategy of services. In India road freight constitutes around 63% of the total freight movement consisting of 2.2 million heavy duty trucks and 0.6 million light duty trucks covering more than 18,00,000 kms of road length carrying more than 3000MMT (million metric ton) of load annually.
The trucking industry is a very significant player in goods movement, carrying over 54% of the tonne km.Inspite of the unorganized nature of the private companies engaged in the movement of goods, the trucking operation in India seems to be fairly inefficient. The way consignee, consignor operates and service management need to be improved substantially, to make the trucking industry vibrant.

Venkata Somisetty – Founder and CEO.
Venkat founded iTroSys as a development center for IT and a place to build a robust system for Transportation business.His principal forteis in IT industries, pioneering products by employing more than what he erudite in 15 years of his experience whereas his Transportation Business skills are inherited from his family legacy. Venkat at the forefront of it all has a knack of being a relentless innovator when it comes to offering advanced technological and business solutions to any scale of businesses.
Prior to establishing iTroSys, Venkat spent working at multinational ERP, product and service based companies as such to name SAP, Defiance and Tech Mahindra.
When he’s not outdoors, you’ll probably find him working on some serious Creative Strategy, classy product developments or mentoring the team to think in radically new directions.
Vishnu Prathivada - Business Development
Vishnu is our Go to Guy for client contact. Possessing a domain experience around 6 years has made him build a team for business development and aiding the transportation business into a success path. He has a credit at iTrosys for building the team for transportation in South India and got business from Giants like ITC and Britannia. Vishnu heads the Sales and Field Execution Team.Vishnu has a Bachelor of Engineering degree fromAVIT,Chennai.
Sachin GS – HR and Operation Head
Having an experience around 5 years into HR & Operations. Involvingin various fields of HR such as talent development, Staff augmentation, organization development, performance management and organization design and structure. Sachin holds a Computers Science degree from Karnataka University.
